This Is Not a Moment for Silence. It Is a Moment for Youth Action!

The times we are living in call for courage, creativity, and connection—and young people have always led the way forward. All Of Us Youth Action 2026 is a weekly gathering for young people 21 and under to come together, build relationships, learn new skills, share ideas, and grow as leaders in their communities.

More than just a program, Youth Action is a space where young people can have fun, be heard, and explore the issues that matter to them while building the confidence and tools to make a difference.

At its core, Youth Action is about community, collective care, civic engagement, and the power of young people organizing for the future they deserve. ✊🏾

Program details

  • Relax, build friendships, laugh, and be yourself.

    Every Saturday begins with food and free time to connect, followed by activities that bring young people together through conversation, creativity, and shared experiences. Some days will center learning from community leaders, others will focus on interactive games, group discussions, media, or creative activities that spark ideas and build relationships.

  • At Youth Action, we:

    • Learn and practice real-world skills young people can carry into school, work, and community life

    • Build skills for advocacy, organizing, and leadership

    • Strengthen relationships and collective care

    • Create action plans rooted in lived experience

    • Honor freedom fighters past and present

    • Organize for the future we deserve

    Every lived experience holds power. Your story, your ideas, and your presence matter.

  • All Of Us Youth Action is open to young people 21 and under from Schenectady, Albany, and surrounding areas.

    You are welcome whether you want to:

    • Speak out and lead

    • Learn and grow your political understanding

    • Organize behind the scenes

    • Support mutual aid and community care

    • Build friendships and community

    Everyone belongs. Everyone has something to offer.

Her presentation, Unapologetic: Hope, Truth, and the Fight for Liberation, challenged students to consider what it means to live authentically, to resist silence, and to practice hope as action.
